Glenn Scolnik
Glenn joined HKW in 1993 and grew with the firm to become its President and CEO in 1998. From 1978 through 1992, Glenn specialized in mergers and acquisitions at Sommer Barnard PC, HKW's outside general counsel. Prior to his law career, Glenn played professional football.

Jeffrey G. Wood

Jeff joined HKW in May 2006. Prior to joining HKW, Jeff served as CEO of First Technology, PLC, a London Stock Exchange listed manufacturing company which was sold in March 2006 to Honeywell for $718 million. In 1994, Jeff was part of the management team of Control Devices, Inc. which partnered with HKW to acquire the business from GTE Sylvania.

James O. Futterknecht, Jr.
Jim joined HKW in 1999. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Chairman, CEO and President of Excel Industries, Inc., an automotive components supplier. In 1983, Jim was part of the management who partnered with HKW to acquire Excel Industries. Starting with revenues of $40 million, the management team took Excel public in 1984, grew revenues to $1.2 billion and in 1999, for strategic reasons, merged the company with Dura Automotive Systems, Inc.

James C. Snyder
Jim joined HKW in August 1999, after serving two years as Vice President of Browning Investments, Inc., an Indianapolis-based real estate development firm. In the previous seven years, Jim served as special counsel to Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith and directed the financial affairs of the city from that position.

Julianne S. Lis-Milam
Julianne joined HKW in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Julianne was a Partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Sommer Barnard PC. While at Sommer Barnard, Julianne represented HKW and its portfolio companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and loan transactions starting in 1986.

Michael Roemer

Michael joined HKW in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a Partner at Flackman, Goodman & Potter, P.A., a Ridgewood, NJ public accounting firm, for 14 years. Michael is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. He represented HKW and most of its portfolio companies in due diligence, audits and other accounting matters since 1986.

Ted H. Kramer
Ted joined HKW in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, Ted was an Investment Manager at White River Venture Partners, a venture capital fund based in Indianapolis. Ted also worked for Arthur Andersen, LLP in the business consulting group. Prior to his business career, Ted played professional hockey.

Mike joined HKW in January 2008. Prior to joining HKW, Mike served as Business Unit Manager of the First Technology Division of Sensata Technologies, a Bain Capital Partners, LLC company. Previously, Mike held several financial and operational management positions during his 14 year tenure at First Technology/ Control Devices, Inc. a previous HKW investment.

Ralph R. Whitney, Jr.
Roy joined HKW in 1971 when it was a private merchant bank and grew with the firm to become its President and CEO and then its Chairman. During the 1980s, Roy helped move HKW toward its future in long-term investments through the acquisition of operating companies.

Bruce D. Atkinson
Senior Advisor
Bruce has spent 34 years in senior management positions with GTE Sylvania. He went on to become President of Control Devices, Inc., a subsidiary of GTE Sylvania, in 1994 when he and Jeff Wood partnered with HKW to acquire the business from GTE Sylvania. From 1999 to 2002 Bruce was COO of First Technology, PLC.

J. Richard Jones
Senior Advisor
Dick served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Process Automation Group of FKI from 1988 to June of 1992 and Group President and Chief Executive Officer from June 1992 to January 1997. In 1997, Dick led a successful management buyout with UBS Capital of all of FKI’s Automotive Group’s assets. After a $75 million public bond offering was completed, Dura Automotive Systems acquired FKI’s Automotive Group. Dick became its Vice Chairman and a Director.
